Do you use Natural Ingredients?

All SHEPARD products are 100% naturally derived. We do a lot of research into our ingredients to ensure they are safe for the body.  We are also very careful to avoid ingredients we know can cause environmental damage.

Do you use Synthetic Fragrances?

No we do not. We understand that there is some controversy with synthetic fragrances and that there are in fact ‘safe’ synthetic fragrances out there, however we choose to keep all Shepard fragrances natural. Our products are scented with pure essential oils or blends with plant based natural fragrance oils that are derived from essential oils and aromatic isolates from plants and botanicals.

Are SHEPARD products safe for children/pregnant women/sensitive skin?

Yes, SHEPARD products are all designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. However there is always a risk that skin may react to even the most natural ingredients. If you have concerns about a potential reaction, we suggest testing a small amount of product on a patch of skin and waiting 24 hours to ensure that there will no be reaction with more extensive use. If irritation does occur, please rinse with water and discontinue use.

Are SHEPARD Products tested on animals?

No, Shepard products are not tested on animals. We are firmly against cruelty to animals.

Are your hand sanitizers effective against COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?

All of our sanitizer products contain a 63% ethanol alcohol. The CDC recommends using sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to help protect yourself against illness . At this time, we cannot make a claim that our sanitizers are effective against any specific virus such as the Coronoavirus (2019-nCoV), however they are tested and proven effective against 99.9% of germs.

Why do I seem to go through my hair bars so quickly?

Don’t hold the bar under water, or leave it wet or in pooled water, it will dissolve much faster, you only need a little amount of the product.

How should I store my bars

After use, keep them in a well ventilated area to dry off. You can keep them on a multitude of surfaces as long as there is air flow, such as on top of flannels, coasters, containers, racks etc.


Can I have my parcel gift wrapped or a card included?

How do you package your products?

We ship from our Philippine warehouse in plastic-free, compostable packaging including paper tape, cardboard boxes and paper filler. However at this time, unfortunately we cannot control the additional packaging individual courriers add once we hand them over. We are working to find courriers that adhere to the same goals of reducing unecessary packaging.

Do you accept returns and refunds for damaged items?

If an item has been damaged in transit, we will provide a replacement or a full refund. Please contact us at via email with your order number, a photo of the damaged item(s), and a description of the fault.

Can I exchange my order?

We do not have direct exchanges available right now, though please send us an email or text. Let's chat through what's not working for you and find a solution that does.

I have received an incorrect item in my order.

Kindly contact us via email us with your order number and a photo of your package, and we will be pleased to assist.

How do I cancel my order?

Please email us if you wish to cancel or amend your order. Kindly note that while we will do our best to accommodate cancellations, we are unable to accept changes to orders that have already been processed.


Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we currently only ship within the Philippines but are working on adding international options soon. If you’re outside of the The Philippines, please send us a note at hello@shepardlifegoods.com, and we will let you know when we’re available in your area.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

Orders typically leave our warehouse within 24 hours of being placed, or the next business day. Generally orders will arrive between 3-7 days depending on the order. Due to the weight and volume of our sanitizers, shipping time for these items range from 7-10 days. Your patience is appreciated if delivery problems occur. Tracking numbers will be emailed once parcels have left our warehouse


How do I dispose of my packaging?

Shampoo bar, Conditioner bar, Body bars— All of our bars refills will arrive in a soy ink-based kraft paper box, which can be recycled or composted. Our metal jars are made of aluminium which is extremely recyclable

Shipping Materials — We ship in recyclable soy ink- based paper mailers. Remove any shipping stickers and recycle or compost (home or industrial) the packaging.

Botanical Sanitizer Refills — Our sanitizer refills comes in an aluminum bottle, designed to be highly recyclable.


Can I send back my containers to refill?

We can only refill our liquid refill containers right now, but are working to be able to offer bigger containers that will save on cost and amount of times needed to refill.

Do you have a drop-off point outside of Cebu?

Not at the moment but we will be looking into this in the future.
